Author guidelines

Papers prepared to the journal template are processed fastest. Read this page before you write, not after.

What the journal accepts

  • Original research. Previously unpublished work.
  • Review articles. A comprehensive survey of a scientific topic.
  • Short communications. Self-contained reports on ongoing research.
  • Technical notes.

Language, length and format

  • Manuscripts must be written in English.
  • The limit is 11 single-column pages in the IJCRM template. A further 7 pages are permitted, giving a maximum of 18.
  • A Word document (.doc or .docx) is preferred, because the typesetting stage and any minor corrections we make on your behalf both need an editable file. A PDF or any other format is accepted; an editor will come back to you if the format turns out to be a problem.
  • Up to 4 authors per paper.

Use the template

Prepare the manuscript in the IJCRM template before submitting. Papers already in the journal's format skip a round of reformatting, which is the single largest avoidable delay between acceptance and publication.

Proofread before submitting

Submit only manuscripts that have been carefully proofread. The names of the authors as they appear in the final manuscript are the names carried into indexing, so check spelling and author order before sending rather than after publication, when the record is fixed.

Every accepted paper needs a signed copyright form, one per submission.

Certificates

Once the paper is published, every author receives a digitally signed e-certificate at no extra charge.

After acceptance

Accepted papers attract a publication charge of 2,000 INR / 45 USD. A DOI can be registered for the paper for a further 500 INR / 10 USD. Publication follows within 72 hours of payment being confirmed.

Integrity

Read the plagiarism policy and the publication ethics policy before submitting. Both apply to every manuscript, and breaching either is grounds for rejection or, after publication, retraction.
